Senior Recognition Photo 2007

Seniors graduating from the respective college or university who have demonstrated academic success by obtaining a GPA of 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale are entitled to apply for this award. The award for their outstanding academic achievement is a long Red and Gold tassel cord worn at graduation ceremonies. The cord is symbolic of their membership in the fraternity by it's colors of red and buff.

To receive the Senior Recognition Award (academic cord), the Educational Foundation must receive the Senior Recognition Award Application 45 days prior to graduation along with verification of the student’s overall G.P.A. being at or above 3.00 going into his last academic term. Upon receipt of application the Foundation will send the Senior Recognition Award tassel cord to the Chapter President for it to be appropriately presented to the individual. It is expected that the presentation ceremony will be done by the Chapter “A” with support from the “BB”, ABT President, Faculty Advisor or Academic Advisor before the entire chapter or an event such as Parents’ Day.
Rules:
  • Applications must be submitted by 6 months prior to graduation..
  • G.P.A. verification must accompany the application.
  • All applicants must submit a "head & shoulder" photo, suitable for publication with application.
