The
"Big Bet" Update |
|
Wow,
over 560 red Delta Chi poker chips where handed out by Delta Chi's
Director of Chapter Services, Matt Killingsworth (Kansas State '2002)
at the 2006 Convention in Cleveland, Ohio. Matt has promised for
every chip brought back to the 2008 Las Vegas Convention by a registered
attendee from the Cleveland Convention, a $10 donation will be made.
Both the Educational Foundation and
the Fraternity will each receive half. Matt has requested that the
money raised be used for Delta Chis Leadership
College and As
Academy.
That same night, Greg Hauser (Past 'AA' ) matched Matt's generosity
and challenged others to do the same. Currently,
several Alumni have agreed and the "Big
Bet" as it is known is off and going strong.
