Borelli Family Leadership Award Header

This award was established in 1982 by Raymond F. Borelli, IL '58 Past "AA" and Emeritus, and Mark R. Borelli, IL '81.

In honor of the memory of Pamela Anne Borelli (beloved daughter and sister) and Mrs. Patricia Ann Borelli (beloved wife and mother)

Eligibility:
The program is to recognize those undergraduates who are an active member in their chapter/colony, and have a minimum "B" average (3.0 \ 4.0 or equivalent) and live in their chapter house if available.

Must be certified by ABT President or "BB" and have held two elected officer positions ('A', 'B', 'C', 'D', 'E', 'F', AMC) in the chapter. Must have made significant contributions to the chapter that can be readily documented and measured.

Must be recommended by the chapter/colony "BB", ABT President, and a respected campus fraternity advisor.

And also have achieved one of the following campus activities:
  • President of a recognized major campus activity as certified by the respective dean of students.
  • IFC, student government, student union, Omicron Kappa Delta, etc.
  • Captain of a varsity sports team as certified by the director of athletics, or a cheerleader for one full year as certified by the dean of student affairs.
  • Editor of the campus newspaper or yearbook as certified by the dean of student.
Awards:

There will be a maximum of 25 men recognized each year and up to 5 may be awarded "with distinction".

Each Brother selected shall receive a Prestigious Individualized framed award in recognition of this honor.

The Brothers selected "with distinction" shall receive an additional monetary award.
 

Rules:

  • Applications must be submitted by December 31 of each year.
  • G.P.A. verification must accompany the application.
  • All applicants must submit a "head & shoulder" photo, suitable for publication with application.
