Thad was initiated into the Southern Methodist University chapter of Delta Chi in March 1965. He graduated in 1968 with a BBA. He received an MBA in 1971 from the University of Texas at Austin. He is a tax CPA in public practice in Dallas. While he has attended a number of Founders Day meetings in Dallas, this is the first position he has held with the international fraternity as an alumnus. His participation is from respect for Fred Hammert.
