The Washburn - Region IX Scholarship


 

The Washburn Scholarship is awarded annually to 2 students in Region IX that qualify through the application process. One winner will come from the East Carolina Chapter, one from any chapter in Region IX. These scholarships are offered to the brothers that best exemplifies what it means to be a Delta Chi. Community involvement, work responsibilities, Chapter involvement as well as current grades and financial situations are all considered in the evaluation process.

The brother must be a member in good standing with Delta Chi and their Chapter in Region IX. The brother must be an "active" member of their Chapter to qualify.
The applications are to be received by the review committee NO LATER than February 28 of each year to qualify. Only the application provided on the Delta Chi Educational Foundation website will be accepted. Applications will also be available at the Region IX Leadership Conference.
The award is a $500.00 scholarship made out to both the student and the university/college and a plaque to remember it by.
